Event Details

Jaime Crespo of Tortilla will take us on a personal journey of his first discoveries of Latino themes in comics and how they affected him and his later work.

From Car Magazines (Low Rider), to political tracts (Chicano Self-Publishing), the roots of Latino comics are explored in a personal way.

Discussion will be preceded by a screening of Latino Americans: 500 Years of History “Episode IV: The New Latinos”.
