More than 30 Bay Area groups, ranging from Baroque string quartets to jazz combos, will play in what’s also a celebration by the Conservatory’s chamber music department, SFFCM’s collaborator for the event, marking 25 years of chamber music education.
The diversity of musical styles covers several centuries and spans the globe… The performers’ repertory collectively runs the gamut from Romantic through avant-garde to contemporary compositions, while other performers are outright improvisers.

- Baroque : Les Grâces – Musica Pacifica – Voices of Music.
- Classical : Alexander String Quartet – Classical Revolution – The Lee Trio, – the Ives Quartet – martha & monica, – Navitas Ensemble – San Francisco Piano Trio, – Zofo duet.
- Contemporary : Earplay – Left Coast Ensemble – Quinteto Latino – The Bernal Hill Players – Luscinia String Quartet – San Francisco Guitar Quartet. – Emergency String (X)tet – Kate Stenberg & Eva-Maria Zimmermann – sfSound – Potaje – Melody of China.
- Jazz: Weber Iago TRio + Revolution Quaret – Marcus Shelby Quartet – TrumpetSuperGroup – The Nice Guy Trio – The Vnote Ensemble – Berkeley Choro Ensemble – Dave Mihaly Shimmering Leaves Ensemble – Essence, Lisa Mezzacappa & Nightshade – Ultra World X-tet.
