Event Details

2012 marks the centennial celebration of the United States’ and Japan’s longstanding tradition of exchanging the gift of cherry trees.

In honor of this occassion, the Consulate General of Japan in San Francisco is pairing with the City of SF and the BID for a ceremonial cherry tree planting in Union Square Park. The trees will be planted on the Post and Stockton Street corner of the park.
