CHSA’s SF Lunar New Year Celebration (Feb. 16-18)
CHSA is ringing the Lunar New Year with a very special Year of the Dragon weekend celebration, Friday, February 16th through Sunday, February 18th.
As the Year of the Dragon awakens, come join the festivities that will feature San Francisco’s favorite dragon as part of the We Are Bruce Lee exhibit.
The weekend’s events will include:
Friday, February 16th Free admission:
-Calligraphy station of couplet banners with artist He Wen Tang(湯賀文) at 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
-Book signing by Anna Wong at 1:00 p.m., her books Doubly Lucky and Doubly Happy are from her ABC perspective, providing a snapshot into Chinese culture.
-Lion Dance Performance by West Coast Lion Dance of troupe at 2:30 p.m.
-Free unlimited access to museum exhibit including We Are Bruce Lee: Under the Sky, One Family; Bruce Lee Underground and Chinese in the Richmond.Saturday, February 17th Free admission:
-Complimentary We Are Bruce Lee exhibit tours
