Alamo Drafthouse Cinema, in association with Six Bag Cinema, the Victorville Film Archive and Adult Swim, are proud to present the ‘On Cinema’ at the Cinema Oscar* Special, beamed live to their screens on Oscar Sunday.

*This is not a screening of the Academy Awards, but with live results, expert analysis, and movies like Tom Cruise in them, you can’t lose.

Hosted by actor, director, screenwriter, songwriter, recording artist, and entrepreneur Tim Heidecker (Agent Jack Decker and Agent Jack Decker Jr. in “Decker”, Dekkar, DKR, FANTASTIC FOUR), the ‘On Cinema’ Oscar Special features special guests, huge surprises, and expert analysis and insight from film historian and archivist Gregg Turkington (Agent and Master Code Breaker Jonathan Kington in “Decker,” ANT-MAN, Guinness World Record Holder for seeing 501 Movies in 501 Days).

Join as we all discover who Oscar has smiled upon this year. Plans for the show are a closely guarded secret, but here’s what you can hope to see:

• Tim Heidecker’s latest take on his iconic “Oscar Fever” song
• A special live performance from noted impressionist Mark Proksch (Abdul in “Decker”)
• An appearance by screen legend Joe Estevez (President Davidson, “Decker”)
• The annual Oscar surprise from Gregg Turkington.
• A memorial to the gone-but-not-forgotten Electric Sun 20
