One City One Book 2012 author Rebecca Solnit will discuss her book A Paradise Built in Hell: The Extraordinary Communities that Arise in Disaster with SF’s Fire Chief, Joanne Hayes-White.
A Paradise Built in Hell explores our need for community and common purpose, which Solnit argues are fundamental to democratic forms of social and political life.
