Here’s how to enter the Hamilton ticket lottery and score $10 seats in SF

The most popular Broadway musical in, like, forever, is at SHN’s Orpheum Theater and offering a lottery for $10 orchestra tickets for every show of its San Francisco run, February 12 – September 8, 2019.

There are 44 orchestra tickets for each Hamilton performance being offered for the lottery. You might get partial view seats, your pairs might be split up, but you also might get front row.

The lottery for $10 tickets (which normally go for $100 and up) opens at 11am two days prior to a performance. If you “win” you’ll have until 4pm the next day to buy your tickets. Read more at SHN.

The lottery opens at 11AM two days prior to the performance and closes at 9AM the day before. Notifications will be sent at approximately 11AM, and the purchase window for tickets will be from 11:01AM – 4PM the day prior to the performance. You can also enter the lottery through the Hamilton App on iPhone or Android

The digital lottery is randomized and the order of entry has no effect on your chances of winning. Winners will be notified via email shortly after the lottery closes with a link to purchase the tickets. Winners will have until 4pm to pay for their tickets with a credit card online. Tickets not claimed in this manner will be forfeited and used as the box office sees fit. Winners must pick up their tickets at the box office with a valid photo ID that matches the name drawn. There is a limit of one entry per person, and each winner can purchase two tickets.
