June 21, 2022 is the longest day of the year and officially the first day of Summer. Technically summer begins this morning at 2:13am.
With the sunrise at 5:48 am and sunset not until 8:35 pm in San Francisco that gives us a full 14 hours, 46 minutes and 54 seconds of daylight to have fun with.
With summer officially here, so are the high temps. San Francisco will reach a high of 83°, Oakland will top over 90 degrees, and further into the East Bay, Walnut Creek will soar to 103°.
