Free Concert Tickets for Cancer Patients
Being sick sucks. Especially with a disease like cancer where the treatments and medicine can often make you feel worse, as they try to get you better.
Thankfully, the good people at Alternative Cure, a San Francisco-based nonprofit entertainment company, have found a way to play a small role in improving the lives of those affected by this awful disease.
Alternative Cure works with artists, venues, and performers to get free concert tickets for individuals and families affected by cancer.
Simply visit their site and fill out an inquiry form to request tickets for a show on their site (or you can refer someone with cancer).
You can also request a show even if it’s not on their calendar. They do their best to fulfill all requests, but they can’t make miracles happen, so no requesting Elvis.
They say laughter is the best medicine, but maybe it’s the third best. Real medicine is the best medicine, then music, then laughter. Then maybe bacon.
