The annual SF Beer Olympics Australia Day Party happens at the Cosmo Lounge starting at 5 pm on Saturday, January 25, 2014.

Australia Day Beer Olympics & Sausage Sizzle
Saturday, January 25, 2014 – 5pm ’til late
The Cosmo Bar, 440 Broadway, San Francisco
FREE before 10 pm with an RSVP and a drink purchase.

Get five beers for $10 before 9:30 pm. After 9:30 pm, get five beers for $15. Sausage Sizzle kicks off at 5 pm. The first 50 people to arrive get a free Sausage Sanga (sausage with onions and sauce on white bread) from Escape Campervans.

They’ll be picking up groups of Australians that are currently traveling in SF. Ring in Australia Day with them while enjoying Aussie-themed drinking games, Tim Tam Slams, Australian-Style Hermit Crab Racing, the ‘Neighbours’ Team Drinking Challenge, and Australian beers all while listening to Triple J’s Hottest 100 streaming live. Compete in the Best Dressed Aussie Bogan Contest, eat some Snags or some Vegemite on Toast (most likely for purchase), and find some Sheilas. Fair dinkum, mate.

Games include: ‘Down Under’ Beer Pong, Two-Up, Aussie Thong Slide, Boomerang Flip, Aussie-Style Hermit Crab Racing, and the ‘Neighbours’ Team Drinking Challenge.
