SF’s bar workers work long shifts pouring drinks and dealing with lousy tippers, so it’s time for them to have a night for themselves – at the 2013 Mid-Winter Bar Workers Ball.

7×7 magazine hosts this annual event free spirits tastings, drink specials, an Irish Car Bomb drinking contest and the blind tasting contest, plus a free photo booth, a drink making contest and DJs to rock you until 2am.

Plus there’s free food for early arrivals (while supplies last) and we’re told there’s complimentary specialty cocktails and beer until 9:30 p.m.

How to Attend?
It’s free for industry folk…  but if you don’t work for a bar don’t fret, anyone can attend but you just have to pay a $5 cover.  If industry folk aren’t paid via check, then they can simply show us their bottle opener, wine key, etc.
