Bay Area Air Quality Worst in the World Yesterday
Thanks to ABC7 and the San Francisco Chronicle for letting us know that on Wedensday, air quality in the Bay Area was the worst in the world due to the raging wildfires.
On Thursday, the air quality improved slightly along the Peninsula but got worse in the East Bay.
According to the Bay Area Air Quality Management District, as of 12pm on Thursday, much of the Bay Area has “Good to Moderate” air quality with only a few areas with “Unhealthy” air, but ABC7 reports that air quality is “going to get worse in a lot of areas.”

Here is the vertically integrated smoke outlook for the region. At this time, it looks like only a small portion of the coast may not be impacted by smoke today. #cawx pic.twitter.com/TavS7sa9Gf
