One of the most socially-distant ways to have fun (literally, you’re sealed inside your car). Here’s two of our favorite drive-ins showing movies over Valentine’s weekend – the West Wind Drive-In theaters in both San Jose and Concord, plus the pop-up Fort Mason Flix waterfront drive-in in San Francisco and a February 13th drive-in movie in Half Moon Bay

(San Francisco) Fort Mason Flix

Fort Mason Flix is a pop-up drive-in theater on the waterfront showing hit movies six days a week, from family favorites and cult classics to blockbusters and art house cinema.

The theater features an oversized 40’ x 20’ high definition LED Screen. At 4,500 nits, this powerhouse screen is up to 90x brighter than a standard movie theater projector, allowing visitors to enjoy their favorite movie in daylight as well as after sunset.

Valentine’s Weekend Drive-in Films 2021

Special SF Opera Movie Nights (Feb. 12-13) Experience opera — from the comfort of your car. San Francisco Opera is once again partnering with Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture to bring the performing arts to the big screen, with a drive-in movie experience. You and your car-mates can be transported into the world of Puccini with four available screenings of Tosca on February 12 and 13.
