The Super Bowl is headed back to the Bay Area after 10 years.

The NFL announced on Monday that Super Bowl LX (that’s 60 for those who don’t know their roman numerals) will be hosted at Levi’s Stadium, the 49ers home in Santa Clara in 2026. And although things can change, if the past is any indicator, the date is likely to be Sunday, February 8, 2026 (the second Sunday in February). W

If Super Bowl 60 is anything like Super Bowl 50 (the last time Levi’s Stadium hosted the big game) there will be tons of festivities in and around the city of San Francisco (with many of them free) in the week before the Super Bowl.

Here’s what happened in 2016 with a free-to-the-public fan village at Embarcadero Plaza, a live “puppy bowl,” fireworks, free ziplines, free concerts and tons more.
