Beware of big BART delays on Friday due to a planned protest at the Montgomery BART station.

“No Business As Usual” BART Protest
Friday, January 16, 2015 | 7am
Montgomery Street Station, SF

On BART Friday, they demand:

  1. Drop charges and ransom against the Black Friday 14
  2. Disband the BART police
  3. Restitution for the people: Low-income ticket discounts

Meet on the platform at Montgomery BART station. Be on time and bring a metal spoon (you’ll find out why).

This protest has been planned autonomously in response to the Anti-Police-Terrorism Project call for a “Reclaiming King’s Legacy” action weekend. APTP is a multi-racial, multi-generational coalition, led by the most impacted communities. APTP is working to develop a replicable and sustainable model to end police terrorism in this country.

There is a state-sponsored war on Black lives in the United States and people across the country are demanding that it comes to an end. As long as it remains business as usual to gun down Black women, men and children in the streets of this country, there will be no business as usual anywhere or for anyone.
