Bitcoin Scavenger Hunt

Find internet money in real places!

Oh look, another Scavenger hunt has started in San Francisco. This time, it’s digital currency. It’s not fake money, we promise.

Twitter user @SFHiddenBitcoin has been hiding aluminum cards containing $20 in bitcoin cash across San Francisco. Look between cracks in buildings, underneath rocks at your neighborhood park, or even at Mark Zuckerberg’s house.

If you’re lucky enough to find one of these cards, you’ll find a bitcoin address on the card that you can link to your bitcoin wallet. Best of all, there’s a good chance you won’t need to go dumpster diving to find them.

So, what are you waiting for? If you find a black aluminum card with a QR code slapped on it while stumbling home from the bar, you’ll be $20 richer. That can buy you a taco feast in the Mission.
