Dine-In Restaurant Rules for California Coming Tuesday

Thanks to ABC7 and SFEater for letting us know that California Gov. Gavin Newsom says to expect restaurant reopening guidelines on Tuesday.

Last week, California State officials including Governor Newsom stated that the latest guidelines to allow dine-in restaurants and other businesses to reopen across the state will be released on Tuesday, May, 12.

The California Restaurant Association (CRA) has released its recommendations for the first steps of how to safely reopen. These recommendations include only family members who live together would be able to sit together at the same table, buffets and salad bars would be closed, and broad state guidelines where local cities and counties make specific local decisions. But it’s not known whether the Governor will take their recommendations into account.
