“Caltopia” UC Berkeley Campus Festival

A Monday filled with music, giveaways & even free massages

Caltopia is an annual free two-day campus festival at the start of the UC Berkeley school year that’s free for the entire community – you don’t have to be a student to get in on the action and giveaways.

Over 30,000 Cal students and campus supporters will touch, taste and experience over 120 campus, Bay Area and national brands.

  • 10 am – UC Jazz (Music)
  • 11 am – Summer Stacks (Dance)
  • 11:30 am – Men’s Octet (Acapella)
  • 12 pm – TL (Dance)
  • 12:30 pm – Dil Se (Acapella)
  • 1 pm – KPG (Dance)
  • 1:30 pm – Golden Overtones (Acapella)
  • 2 pm – Artists in Resonance (Acapella)
  • 2:30 pm – AFX (Dance)

Monday, August 24

  • 10 am – UC Jazz (Music )
  • 11 am – Golden Overtones (Acapella)
  • 11:30 am – Salsa (Dance)
  • 12 pm – Oskie and Cal Band (Music & Spirit )
  • 12:30 pm – Cal Rally Com (Spirit)
  • 1 pm – Cal Taiko (Drumming)
  • 1:30 pm – AFX (Dance)
  • 2 pm – Men’s Octet (Acapella)
  • 2:30 pm – Summer Stacks (Dance)

Giveaways

  • Free cookies from Pacific Cookie
  • Free massage by Cal Massage

They are giving away over $5,000 in furniture, merchandise, gift cards, beachcomber bikes, concert tickets and other great prizes donated by Caltopia exhibitors. Winners will be selected every hour during the event. No purchase is necessary.

How to Enter:

  • Step One: Snap a selfie at participating exhibitor booths throughout the event.
  • Step Two: Tag your selfie with @calrecsports, #caltopia2015 and the participating exhibitors handle.
  • Step Three: Share your image with hashtags and handles with your Twitter and/or Instagram networks.

Random winners will be selected and notified via social media by the Cal Rec Sports Social Media team. All giveaways can be redeemed at the Social Media Giveaway booth on Sunday, August 23 and Monday, August 24 from 3-4 pm.
