Experience the magic and beauty of the waterfront at night; the annual “Food From the Heart” will kick off in the candlelit Grand Nave of the 1898 Ferry Building.

The public is invited to stroll the candlelit Grand Nave where the merchants and restaurateurs of the marketplace will offer seasonal hors d’oeuvres and Slow Food will pour wine from several wine bars. There will be hors d’oeuvres for $2-4 each, and vintners will pour wine for $6-8 per glass.

Marketplace shops will all be open until 8 pm for Valentine’s Day shopping on Friday night. There will be tango dancing and music throughout the Nave.

Proceeds from wine bar and hors d’oeuvres purchases benefit Slow Food San Francisco.
