Tucked away in the San Francisco Main Library is The City’s tiniest Christmas House.
You’ll find this itsy bitsy living room decked out for the holidays in the SF History Center’s reading room on the 6th Floor of the Main Library (100 Larkin St #6). It’ll be on display through January 10, 2023.
Calling all fans of miniatures! If this teeny tiny living room looks like a place where you’d love to put your feet up and cozy away the hours with a good book, well, you’re in luck (kind of).
Come visit Juniper Von Phitzer miniature library, located in the SF History Center’s reading room on the 6th Floor of the Main Library! All decked out and festooned with ornaments, miniature books, and furnishings throughout (see if you can spot the tiny cat portraits), this whimsy was created by Lloyd Nielsen and Marvin Hiemstra of Juniper Von Phitzer Press. This was a prized gift to our Book Arts and Special Collections.
