Funcheap’s favorite city hiker, Jill Katz leads another fun six mile hike through San Francisco where you reward all your hard work with satisfying treats and drinks for purchase at the end of the day on Sunday, March 23, 2014.

City Hike Day
Sunday, May 23, 2014 – 1pm
Meet in front of Kezar Pub (Carl and Cole)
FREE

Jill says:

Meet 1 pm in front of Kezar Bar & Grill at Carl/Cole. We will then walk to Mt. Olympus (it’s an odd little park but you get to climb up some cool stairs), criss cross back to Corona Heights Park (wow, this gem it has incredible views and feels like you are in the mountains) then of course we need a little more up in the Buena Vista Park (this park rocks and has a multitude of stairs for the extra butt workout).

We will then go towards the Panhandle and cross over to the Conservatory of Flowers to see what’s in bloom and end up at the Buckshot for the best Miss Piggy Mac-n- Cheese or Chicken Fried Bacon with an ice cold beverage.

Cancellation Condition: If it rains sideways but even so we would just look for rainbows.

This an A-B thing about that in terms of transportation. Everyone is welcome to join, but please leave your dog at home. No RSVP required. Wear layers and bring a snack if you want. The hike officially ends at 4 pm, but they tend to stay out later than they plan to.
