Did you ever think that the words “Comcast” and “generous” would be in the same sentence? But our poor experiences with them won’t stop us from giving them praise when it’s due.

Comcast is giving access to Xfinity Wi-Fi hotspots to everyone for free, even non-subscribers, for 60 days.

So that means any time you see “xfinitywifi” as an available wifi network name, you can log on for free for the next 60 days. Please note that these hotspots tend to have a very short range, but thankfully there are millions of these nationwide.

Xfinity WiFi Free For Everyone: Xfinity WiFi hotspots located in businesses and outdoor locations across the country will be available to anyone who needs them for free – including non-Xfinity Internet subscribers. For a map of Xfinity WiFi hotspots, visit www.xfinity.com/wifi. Once at a hotspot, consumers should select the “xfinitywifi” network name in the list of available hotspots and then launch a browser.

Just make sure you use a VPN if you do this, or think twice before you enter any sensitive information.
