The “Now” Community Festival
Now is a community festival akin to a cross between [freespace] and SXSW and they’ll be taking over the neighborhoods around San Francisco’s iconic Panhandle (plus a few all over the city) to produce a week of mostly free events from April 19-25, 2015.
Hundreds of people will contribute to a neighborhood-wide explosion of community projects – free yoga, silent discos, jam sessions, book talks, cookie swaps, and even a belated Easter egg hunt, plus lots more. Most events are free, but a few ask for donations or have nominal fees.
