One of the few great “after-shift: late night drink and dinner spots in Oakland is closing down for good after six years.

A rarity among good restaurants in Oakland (and San Francisco, for that matter) Copper Spoon at 4031 Broadway, served food until 11pm on weekdays and until 12:30am on weekends and become a late-night favorite among shift workers in Oakland.

Sadly, Copper Spoon’s last night is October 31, 2023.

Funcheap was thrilled to have thrown many “HellaSecret” Oakland Comedy Nights at Copper Spoon – Join us for one last comedy show on Halloween – afterward we say bon voyage to the crew at Copper Spoon and can’t wait to see what the owners come up with next!

RSVP for Final Night Comedy (10/31 at 7p) and get your last taste.

Copper Spoon is a woman owned expansive cocktail bar & kitchen. While they are known for their craft cocktails and large mezcal selection, there is truly something for everyone. This is not your traditional bar style food either; proteins options such as lamb, oysters, and local chicken on top of a variety of gluten free & vegan options are offered. Upon entry you’ll find comfortable bar and dining style seating throughout, as well as the option to sit in their covered & heated patio in the back. Patio hours do vary, so be sure to catch a spot on a nice day!

Lively, yet cozy with an eclectic Oakland charm.
