Cult Fav Fast Food “Raising Cane’s” Coming to Bay Area
Thanks to SFGate for sharing the news that the fast-food cult fav Raising Cane’s is expanding into the Bay Area.
The fried chicken chain specializes in crispy chicken tenders paired with a limited option of sides including crinkle-cut fries, coleslaw, Texas toast, plus their signature Cane’s sauce. Alternatively, you could order a chicken tender sandwich.
The Bay Area’s first location of Raising Cane’s will be located in Berkeley, directly across from the UC Berkeley campus, as part of a massive new student housing project located at 2580 Bancroft Way. It’s slated to open in summer 2022, but an exact date has yet to be announced.
According to SF Chronicle, Raising Cane’s will also be opening up two more East Bay locations, including a location in Oakland at 8430 Edgewater Drive, near the Oakland Coliseum, which is also expected to open this summer.
The third planned location in the Bay Area will be in Hayward at 26231 Mission Blvd, which is scheduled to open in early 2023.
