People lure Instacart shoppers with huge tips… only to switch them to $0 after delivery

Some people are so desperate for their grocery delivery orders to be accepted in the face of huge demand that they are resulting to being absolute dicks.
CNN shared with us a sad story that in late March, an Instacart worker Annaliisa Arambula accepted an order from a customer who offered a $55 tip. But with her shock, upon checking her Instacart app, the tip was gone with a message saying that the customer modified the tip after the delivery to be $0. She ended up just making the $8.95 delivery fee.
Needless to say, don’t be an asshole. If your order isn’t being accepted then either pay what you promised, or put on your big boy pants and get in line at the grocery store like the rest of us.
