Dolores Park Grand Re-Opening

The north side of the park re-opens June 18th with a massive free Silent Disco

“the flowers are in, the grass is down, the cement is set and we are ready… the ‘all -spiffed -up’ North half of Dolores will be turned over to the people and yes Lord we are ready”

After more than a year of waiting, the northern half of Dolores Park is finally set for its grand re-opening on June 18, 2015. Here’s some photos of some of the awesome new improvements to the park..

And to celebrate, Rec and Park is organizing a free Silent Disco party in the park.

  • Kids party – 3pm to 4pm
  • Adults party – 4pm to 7pm

Wireless headphones will be loaned to attendees for free. The first hour of the party will be dedicated to the kids, with children’s music broadcast through the headphones.
