Drive In-Movies: The Perfect COVID-19 Era Outing?

Stay safe in your car, but enjoy being at the movies. Enjoy ’70s fun in East Bay + San Jose

Remember the Drive-In? If you haven’t been to a good ol’ fashioned drive-in movie in a while, head to West Wind Drive-in (yes, an old school drive in where you listen to the movie on FM).

Is there any better “social” activity during these COVID-19 days since you’re sealed in your car, but still out with a bunch of other people enjoying a common experience.

Normally, tickets are $8.25 a person and Tuesday nights are just $5.50 (kids 5-11 are only $1.75, kids 4 and under are free) – a 1970s style bargain.

Update – the West Wind Drive-ins will shut down starting Tuesday, but will still be operating on Monday night 3/16.
