El Rio’s Back Patio Reopening “Soon”
First step back… food and to-go drinks available Fridays to Sundays. Patio scheduled to reopen soon.

Thanks to Broke-Ass Stuart for letting us know the great news that El Rio, one of our favorite LGBTQ+ patio dive bars has reopened for to-go food and drinks, and hopes to reopen their back patio soon.
El Rio is currently open Fridays 4-8pm plus Saturdays & Sundays 2-6pm for to go drinks & food only. But there’s an exciting footnote right underneath the hours on their website that says, “WE HOPE TO HAVE THE PATIO OPEN SOON!” but no dates or specifics have been provided yet.
View the to-go menu which has tamales, “El Rio” rolls plus fresh lime margaritas, moscow mules and double palomas.
