Every summer Film Night in the Park puts on free outdoor movies in parks throughout San Francisco and the Bay Area.

Films are free of charge in beautiful park settings and projected on a giant outdoor screenArrive early, spread out a blanket, and picnic prior to the screening, but avoid bringing chairs.

Film Night in the Park 2013
June 7 to September 21, 2013
All shows begin at 8 pm or dusk; schedule is subject to change
Free, but are donations appreciated

Saturday, August 3, 2013 – Dusk
The Princess Bride
Union Square, SF
FREE

Watch an outdoor screening of The Princess Bride.

Enjoy a classic fairy tale with swordplay, giants, an evil prince, a beautiful princess, and yes, some kissing (as read by a kindly grandfather). An 80s classic with tons of lines you probably know by heart.

Your chance to see an almost hunky sword-wielding Mandy Patinkin 25 years before kicking terrorist butt on Homeland.
