Flask Mob

A new monthly event combining photography & secret drinking
By - posted 2/15/2014 No Comment

Flask Mob is a unique renegade monthly photo walk with a very solid following, and no wonder.

Loosely based on the idea of a flash mob – Flask Mob is a monthly meeting of Bay Area creatives who gather with flasks and cameras to mob the streets  to discover and photograph typical and crazy Saturday nights in San Francisco.

Take pictures of life on the streets, the fun & dirty side of dive bars, breakdancing in gas stations… every month is completely different.

February 2014 Flask Mob

The main focus is learning and networking (with a little drinking thrown in) and the leader Evan organizes, plans, and personally leads each event. The walk usually ends around 11 pm but everyone goes for as long as they like.

The organizer says:  Nothing verbally can be said to give this event justice. It is hands down the funnest thing I’ve been to. I may be biased because I am the founder, but having 100s of kids showing up each month after only a few meets might say something. Kids come out to learn, others come to teach, some just for a good time, and the majority to network.
