The Blue Angels are back with their awesome annual air show

Look up in the sky when you hear the roaring of jet engines and head down to SF’s northern waterfront for San Francisco’s annual Fleet Week airshow and festival.

Much more than just the Blue Angels, this yearly festival and celebration of military power typically features a full airshow with a B-2 Bomber, a 747, Coast Guard rescue demonstrations, plus Navy ship tours, live music, a parade of ships underneath the Golden Gate Bridge, fireworks and tons more.

Fleet Week 2014 Events

Tuesday, October 7

  • 3 pm: K9 Heroes “Bark in the Park” – Jefferson Park (Eddy & Gough St)

Wednesday, October 8

  • 10:30 am to 5 pm: Art Exhibit – The Cannery
  • 1-4 pm: Ships Tours

Thursday, October 9

  • 10:30 am to 5 pm: Art Exhibit – The Cannery
  • Noon to 5 pm: Blue Angels Arrival & Practice
  • 1-4 pm: Ships Tours
  • 1-2 pm: 32nd Street Brass Band – Pier 39

Friday, October 10

  • 8 am: Softball Tournament – Moscone Field at Chestnut & Laguna St
  • 10:30 am to 5 pm: Art Exhibit – The Cannery
  • 11 am: USMC Band Performance – Pier 39
  • 11 am: Parade of Ships – Northern Waterfront
  • 12:30-4 pm: Air Show Rehearsal – (Blue Angels from 3-4 pm)
  • 3 pm: Veterans War Memorial Dedication and Reception – Van Ness Ave
  • 4 pm: The Destroyers Band Peformance – Pier 39

Saturday, October 11

  • 9 am to 4 pm: Ships Tours – See Navy Ships page
  • 10 am to 5 pm: Humanitarian Village – Marina Green
  • 10:30 am to 5 pm: Art Exhibit – The Cannery
  • 11 am: Powell St. Band Concert – Powell & Market
  • Noon: The Destroyers Band Peformance – Pier 39
  • 12:30-4 pm: Air Show – (Blue Angels from 3-4 pm)
  • 6:15 pm: Blue Angel Meet & Greet – Pier 39
  • 8:30 pm: Pier 39 Fireworks

Sunday, October 12

  • 9 am to 4 pm: Ships Tours – See Navy Ships page
  • 10:30 am to 5 pm: Art Exhibit – The Cannery
  • 11 am to 5 pm: Humanitarian Village – Marina Green
  • Noon: USNSCC Band of the West Performance – Pier 39
  • 12:30 pm: Italian Heritage Parade – starts at intersection of Powell & Jefferson and ends at Washington St.
  • 12:30-4 pm: Air Show – (Blue Angels from 3-4 pm)

Monday, October 13

  • 9 am to 4 pm: Ships Tours- See Navy Ships page
  • 10 am to 1 pm: High School Band Challenge – Golden Gate Park
