SF’s Very First “Beer Shuttle”
San Francisco is about to make drinking beer that much easier and better with its hop on, hop off FREE “Drink SF” beer shuttle throughout the city.
The San Francisco Brewers Guild – a bunch of peeps who get to drink a bunch of beer then call themselves an association – will be sharing the love with the rest of us as they launch a Meet the Brewer night once a month.
On March 16th, Meet the Brewers night begins at 6pm at Black Sands brewery, then offers a shuttle to the rest of the stops of the night.
The third Wednesday of the month you can pick any location the shuttle route goes, then have your own brewery crawl. The shuttles run every 15-20 minutes, so there’s no need to chug your drink and run (these are craft beers, not college beers after all).
They will be offering a Haight/Sunset line, Mission/Dolores/Bernal line, Dogpatch/Mission Bay line, and SOMA/Union Square line with 10 monthly shuttle runs in 2016, so don’t get too excited and go to all of them in the first month. This may be the best way to discover some untapped breweries across SF.
