As first reported by Joe Kukura on Broke-Ass Stuart, San Francisco has now placed pop-up public hand-washing stations to provide a safe and free place for the public to wash their hands. These new stations have popped up on sidewalks as part of an effort by SF Department of Health of Department of Emergency Management in hopes of containing the spread of COVID-19.

The first pop-up hand washing station was spotted at Haight and Ashbury on March 9th, with another noticed at Market and Noe.
