A pioneer as the first clean, well-lighted place to sell vibrators, Good Vibrations has been a Bay Area presence for over three decades now, recasting sexual need in a healthful light.

Just in time for Valentine’s Day, Good Vibes is expanding, opening its fifth store since 1977 and this one is as close as it’s going to get to San Francisco’s downtown shopping district. In fact, it’s as good a sign of the times as any that it’s right across the street from the fancy new Bloomingdale on Mission Street.

They’re marking the occasion with a reception and several promotions across the city.
