Well-loved San Francisco indie bookstore Green Apple Books is planning on reopening for curbside pickup on May 18th when the city is expected to allow lower risk businesses (like bookstores) to enter “stage 2” reopening.

Please note the reopening tweet was mentioned only on the Inner Richmond stores twitter page, but it’s not yet known Green Apple will be opening their Clement St. store in the Inner Richmond, their 9th Ave. store in the Inner Sunset or both. Visit greenapplebooks.com for updates.

During the initial stages of the reopening you likely won’t be able to enter the interior of the store, browse for books or sell books, but you’ll be able to pre-order books for pick up. Stay tuned for more details as they work out exactly how pre-ordering will work any next steps for reopning including when the outdoor book stands may return.
