Happy Birthday to SFO!

San Francisco International Airport (SFO) was commissioned on May 7, 1927. As the Bay Area’s largest airport, nearly 58 million guests travel through the airport each year.

It offers nonstop flights to more than 49 international destinations on 41 international carriers and connects nonstop to 83 cities in the U.S. on 13 domestic airlines. Plus, if you’re in the airport and have some time, it is the country’s only airport with a museum program accredited by the American Association of Museums.

Let’s look back at the history of SFO through archival photos, vintage color film, and audio interviews in a video made on their 90th Anniversary.
