Like Marvin Gaye? Stevie Wonder? The Temptations? Funcheap and Stroy Moyd team up to bring you #HellaMotown aka the Biggest Motown Dance Party in San Francisco.
Bring your Thursday night dancing shoes and join DJ Josef with an F (SF) and DJ Spin (London) to bust-a-move, start a soul train and shake what yo mama gave you. We’ll be spinning a ton of original Motown music with a little mix of Motown-inspired tunes as well.
When you get tired from shaking your tail feather, have a seat and watch our live painters paint art to re-up your spirits and get back to the dance floor

DJ SPIN – Mark Letang aka DJ Spin (Mass Factor) is considered the people’s DJ – Born in London, England and residing in the Bay Area for over 20 years he has a wealth of knowledge about what it takes to connect people musically at any given event. DJ Spin has held down residences at some of the best clubs in San Francisco, throughout the 2000s including Cloud 9, Mr. Smiths,The Dragon Bar,Hi Fi, Sacrifice, Fluid , Ruby Skye.
DJ JOSEF WITH AN F – DJ Josef with an F has been a DJ for over 10 years in the Bay Area with gigs at Milk Bar, Layover and Somar. Cutting his teeth across dance clubs, lounges, bars, bar mitzvahs, and weddings. “I’ll spin at your funeral.” With a high passion for Motown music, Josef was the only asian kid at school who saw the movie “The Five Heartbeats” He has opened for such acts as Common, Ill-Literacy, and Kiwi of Native Guns. Oh, and he’s a professional comedian as well.
