The Bay Area hip-hop community comes together the first Saturday in May each year to enjoy live music, graffiti art, dancing, and DJing at the annual Hip Hop in the Park, a hip-hop festivalrun by the Students For Hip Hop at Cal in People’s Park.

- Headliner: Fashawn, a rapper from Fresno who recently got signed to Nas’ label “Mass Appeal Records” and has an album out called “Boy Meets World”.
- Young Gully, an up-and-coming rapper from Oakland
- Magna Carda
- Breathless
- BPos
- Kensho Kuma
- Romski
There will be food trucks, a b-boy/girl cypher, merch tables, and a kids’ tent.
