Macy’s Great Tree in Union Square, San Francisco’s most recognized Christmas tree, will be officially lit in Union Square on Friday, November 29, 2013.

The ceremony is expected to begin at 6 pm and the tree is scheduled to be lit at 6:40 pm. Enjoy live music, dance performances, and special appearances while waiting for that moment when the holiday tree is illuminated. In past years, the 80-foot Fir tree has been covered in 21,000 twinkling LED lights.
