Magic Mushrooms are Now Decriminalized in SF
This just in...’shrooms are now decriminalized in San Francisco.
Thanks to Broke-Ass Stuart for sharing the news that San Francisco’s Board of Supervisors voted on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 and unaminiously passed a resolution that makes entheogenic plants including peyote, ayahuasca, and psilocybin mushrooms San Francisco police’s lowest priority. Plus it urges the State of California and the United States Federal government to decriminalize entheogenic plant practices and their uses.
San Francisco is the third city in the state to decrimilize magic mushrooms, following on the heels of Oakland and Santa Cruz. Other notable locations that have passed similar resolutions include Denver and Washington, D.C., as well the state of Oregon.
So, you’ll be free to have a little trip without much worry, but just be smart about it. Only have a personal amount on you, and be responsible enough to not use or carry any amount on federal property or schools.
We are so thrilled to announce that our resolution to decriminalize plants medicines and psilocybin mushrooms passed in San Francisco. May compassion and love prevail here and everywhere! Thank you @DeanPreston and @HillaryRonen for the bravery and intelligence! 🧿🦋✌🏽🌈🙌🏾 pic.twitter.com/q3ZANaRQry
