One of SF’s most historic bar locations, Elixir in The Mission has gussied up for Memorial Day weekend with bunting on the bar and their parklet with the plan to leave it up through July 4th.

Elixir is San Francisco’s 2nd Oldest Saloon.Through many incarnations, the bar at the corner of 16th and Guerrero has served patrons since 1858.

The bar serves over 600 whiskeys. Elixir is also re-purposing old whiskey barrels to become decorative stave walls for their outdoor parklet.
