On Tuesday, January 15, 2013 from noon to 1:30 pm, BART invites the public to celebrate the life of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. The event is free and will take place in the auditorium on the second floor of BART’s administration headquarters at 300 Lakeside Drive in Oakland.
This year’s event will also commemorate the 50th anniversary of the 1963 March on Washington through song, spoken word and a multimedia presentation depicting significant scenes that led to the historic march.
