Monster Pho Gives Away $25k in Free Pho…Thanks to Steph Curry
East Bay Vietnamese restaurant Monster Pho, which has locations in Oakland and Emeryville, just got the surprise of a lifetime.
Steph & Ayesha Curry surprised owner Tee Tran on the Tamron Hall TV show with a $25,000 check in honor of his work to help feed the hungry through the pandemic.
Tee Tran is continuing his philanthropy and is using the money to give away pho to “Anyone. Anytime. Any Day. Any Location. No Questions Asked.” He’s calling it #PhoForThePeople.
The generous promotion, which started on New Year’s Day, has been extremely popular. The two restaurant locations gave away 1,200 bowls of pho in the first few days alone. They’ll be keeping the promotion running until the $25,000 runs out, which might be as early as next week. However, once those funds run dry, he plans to continue the initiative, however, it’ll be on a more limited basis.
