Nude “Body Freedom” Parade

Yet another protest against nudity ban in SF. Yawn….

Get naked or as bare as you dare at another nude protest against the nudity ban at Jane Warner Memorial Plaza on Sunday, November 17, 2013.

Allegedly, VOX German TV will be flying in from Germany to document the San Francisco body freedom movement. This protest will be in one of the biggest reports about nudists for the Saturday primetime for German broadcast.

So it could be hundreds of naked people looking to get their schlongs on camera, or it could be just you – you never know with these type of events. Just make sure you wear lots of sunscreen to avoid ouchie sunburns.

Public nudity is illegal in San Francisco as of February 1, 2013, which in turn means there is a slight chance you might get arrested if you’re naked.

The organizers argue: “However, the US Constitution protects political speech. If we get arrested or fined while at the protest nude, it will be a blatant violation of our 1st Amendment right. Should the city authorities chose to arrest us, it will greatly strengthen our case against them.”
