Noise Pop 2016 Just Got Announced
The first round of 2016 Noise Pop Festival artists just got announced today with a load of great bands and tickets starting at Funcheap-friendly $12.
The full schedule of shows and events (including free happy hours and art shows) is still to come.
But you can start drooling now with the first round of confirmed acts including rapper Vince Staples, New York rockers Parquet Courts, The Cave Singers, indie pop outfit Cayucas, The Thermals, jazz saxophonist Kamasi Washington and more. See the current Noise Pop schedule.
The Mountain Goats will also be doing two performances at the Swedish American Hall.

The bands that play this festival are all hand-picked by Noise Pop (the same crew that puts together the Treasure Island Music Festival) and focuses on up and coming bands that might be superstars in 2017.
The festival features shows at venues like Brick and Mortar, The Independent, The Chapel, Bottom of the Hill, Rickshaw Stop and Swedish American Hall.
