Head to Encinal Yacht Club (or the Wind River Park in Alameda) and nab a perfect viewing spot for the 41st Annual Oakland/Alameda Estuary Lighted Yacht Parade, starting about 5:30pm on Saturday, December 2, 2017.

In 2017, the parade will follow a longer route passing by Fortman and Grand Marina to include the Alameda and Island Yacht Clubs. Staging will be between Wind River and the Fortman Marina’s public pier as the sun goes down.

This Bay Area tradition features dozens of festively decorated boats as they cruise along the estuary in competition for prizes. Free parking is provided at the Main Street terminal.

Public viewing areas are available at Jack London Square and along the public access walkway in Wind River Park in Alameda. Although parking in the Wind River campus is not available, you can park in the adjacent business parking lots. View a map of  parking areas.
