Thanks to KRON4 and CNN for letting us know that the Oakland Zoo taken in two rather adorable mountain lion cub rescues who were displaced from the Zogg wildfire in Shasta county.

Dr. Herman and her vet staff examined the cubs and thankfully, both of these cubs appear to be in good health. The zoo says they’ll give them a loving temporary home at the hospital until a more permanent home can be found.

The two female cubs will join “Captain Cal” a male mountain lion cub who was rescued by a firefighter a few weeks ago in Redding who brought him to the Oakland Zoo for recovery

Follow their progress on Twitter or Facebook where the Oakland Zoo provides periodic updates.
