Going to see Rigoletto at the War Memorial Opera House costs, oh, upwards of $200 for good seats. But, thanks to the Opera at the Ballpark program, you can watch a live simulcast of the very same opera from any seat at AT&T Park totally free.

On Saturday, September 15, 2012 “Opera at the Ballpark” will broadcast a  performance of Rigoletto at 8pm on the big HD screen at AT&T Park.

2012 Opera at the Ballpark
Saturday, September 15, 2012 (8p)
AT&T Park, SF
FREE but RSVP for Tickets

All seats are on a first-come-first-served basis but given the size of the Ballpark, it’s best in the center of the stadium, in the area behind home plate. You can also bring a blanket to sit on the field (lawnchairs are not permitted). You can bring a picnic but no coolers or metal utensils or glass bottles.
