Valentine’s Day = Roman fertility festival, Chaucer’s love poems, bank-breaking gifts, and Hallmark cards with stuffed animals… it is our modern day holiday of love. For many people it can be a day of loneliness, whether they have a love or not… enter Operation Street Love.

Operation Street Love
Thursday, February 13, 2014 (6pm)
Meet at Ferry Building
FREE

The Parade of Love Revelry for 2014 will start in front of the Ferry Building at 6pm and head up Market Street to the end location at QBar in the Castro around 8pm, where the libations and laughter will continue.

This is your mission, should you choose to accept it: make people feel good. Share the joy, give a hug, make someone laugh, smile, dance, and feel good.

Costumes are not only highly encouraged, but will garner you respect, admiration, and countless bonus points in the feel-good-love-spreading mojo that Operation Street Love are infusing the streets of San Francisco with. Expect to see people dressed as giant foam candy hearts, Cupids, angels or dressed in red.
